:: A Christmas Season to Remember ::

There are so many highlights to share, and it was hard to pare down for this blog post.  Our Christmas was filled with fun, family, and delicious treats.  The hubby and I even carved out an afternoon matinee to see the new Star Wars movie together.  We don't get many of those opportunities.  Time spent together as a couple is truly important for a healthy relationship.  I'd like to have more of that together time in the new year.  How's that for a resolution?!  ;)

The photos begin with Christmas Eve at my aunt & uncle's home - so many goodies and an enjoyable evening together celebrating!  (many thanks to Aunt Ellen & Uncle Chet).  Then Christmas morning, and gifts on a strangely warm day - the high reached 70!  The girls especially kept saying "it doesn't feel like Christmas without snow!"  I'm not going to complain since we gave our heating bill a break.  But, secretly, I wished we had had snow, too.

We had a special evening with my husband's family.  We always look forward to spending time with our beautiful nieces!  All four of them are at different stages of life and it's a pleasure to hear their stories and reconnect with them.  (thanks girls!!)

The photos finish with some of our family's New Year's Eve silliness and then our traditional New Year's day hike at Nolde Forest State Park in Shillington, PA.  It's been a warm, love-filled Christmas and New Year celebration of family time.  I hope yours has been much of the same!!!
