Art and Life

This age old question keeps popping into my head lately ... Does art imitate life? Or, does life imitate art? This philosophical question, when asked with an open mind, can claim a profound outlook on your life. Think about it for a minute, (or two - if you dare). Now, ponder, peruse, and permeate your thoughts on this matter ...

I gathered with my good friends who share the same love as I do. Can you guess? Wow, that wasn't too difficult :) Our shared interests led us to West Chester, Pa. It's always a great time with my photog pals. I learn so much from them, and appreciate their fun-witted, good-natured company. Thank you, friends!

Okay. Back to the question at hand. Take a look, see what you will, and draw your own conclusion...

Still pondering, are you?

If you have an answer, and would like to comment, I welcome your feedback and insight. There is no right or wrong answer. That's the beauty of life and art. Keep questioning, living and creating your own art.

'Till next time, peace & love,

Barb

days to treasure

My girls keep me wearing a smile.
We are preparing for Pre-K now!
We went school shopping.
This is the dress Alanna chose...

Will they miss each other?
Probably so.
Best friends forever...

And ...

"Mama, take a picture of my flower!"

and so it goes. I hold onto these days loosely, yet with a firm grip knowing how fast they go. My oldest, now 20, has taught me to savor every detail of life. For our time as Mommy & daughter was much too quick. I look back and wonder where it all went. Blink. Blink. Gone.

These are the days I treasure ...

Love,
Mama

I'm back!

I'M BACK!!!

I haven't posted a blog in quite a while.

So, I thought, there's no time like the present.

We spent a hot morning at Springton Manor Farm in Chester County, PA, last weekend.

What a scenic, lovely setting to do a family photo shoot.

Daddy and his girls at Springton Manor Farm

Summertime offers a butterfly house

... and

we ran across some funny faces ...

and one fabulous tree with limbs to spare...

and had time to get a family picture of us (minus our oldest).

ah, ... life is good.

Thank you for your patience. I will try to post more often.

Until next time ... peace be with you.
