sneak peek: family group style

What a gorgeous, perfect spring day we had here in Pennsylvania!  It was made more perfect for me because I spent the afternoon making pictures with this endearing family.  I have had many opportunities to photograph a certain someone.  Someone you might just recognize if you've visited my blog in the past.  She keeps getting feistier and feistier with time.  Her personality is growing by leaps and bounds!  ;)  Too cute and fun!!  Hold onto your heart because she's liable to steal it from you!

Sneak Peek | Family Mini-Portrait Session

Sometimes the best of plans have a way of being altered and made even better.  I love when that happens to me.  So unexpected, so wonderful.  I haven't spent much time with this family you are about to see, and we have only gotten to know one another through Facebook interactions and mutual Pinterest interests, also.  But, for me, hanging out with these lovely ladies was like revisiting a good book - familiar, friendly, at home.  I couldn't wait to share a few sneak peeks from our Holiday Mini-Photo Session together!  Thank you so very much 'T' and 'N'; you were most hospitable, fun and the new enclosed porch was just perfect for our photos together!!  Please enjoy a few from our time together… :)

Princess Annabelle

I seriously L O V E photographing this sweetheart!  I have had many opportunities to do so, and each time gets sweeter, more enjoyable for me.  :)  Her "big" personality, her darling smile that will melt anyone to pieces, her spatial intelligence, her spunky energy and independence just continue to grow as she does!  

I met this little princess and her Mommy and Grammy on a beautiful, sunny morning at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA.  Her Mommy wanted her adorable little belle to be photographed amongst the roses in the rose garden.  We had lots of laughs as we watched Annabelle explore her surroundings with wide-eyed wonder and curiosity.  So fun!!  Thank you again, Angie & Carol!  You spoil me!!

Hopewell Furnace and Family Fun

I had a fun morning yesterday with my dear friends while exploring Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site and photographing.  If you frequent my blog, than you will recognize these adorable faces!  I have had the privilege of capturing them many times over the years, and each time is new and exciting!  I never know what our session will have in store for us. ;)

toddler time in the park

Meeting this little guy was such a joy for me! He was very interested in exploring and not so much in being photographed. I had been forewarned that he may not be the easiest person to cooperate for some photos, and to be prepared for anything. Well, I believe these small challenges in life are worth the effort! 

So, please let me know what you think.

I hear he took a great nap afterwards! ;)

I couldn't wait to share a couple of my favorites from this mini photo session today! This guy gave his mom and I a good run for our money.. whew! His boyish, inquisitive nature was a fun challenge to capture ;)

Fun and Games

I am so fortunate to do what I do. Have I told you lately how much fun I am having?! Oh, I have?! Sorry to keep repeating myself, but I do love my work! Now, hear this ~ it's not all fun and games, even though it looks like it! There's much that goes on behind the scenes:  the hours of editing, the deadlines (I need deadlines!), the attention to detail (I am a wee bit neurotic about that), the bookkeeping of records, the communications, the thank you notes (yes, I am anal about that too! and I have my grandmother to thank for it ;) But overall, this is a great love of mine... I sure hope it shows!

I had the privilege of photographing this lovely family last weekend at Gring's Mill Recreation Area as part of a mini-session. I had so much fun, and I think they did too!
