It's All YOU, baby!

I spent a terrific morning today photographing my friends, and finally getting the chance to meet their little cutie patootie baby girl.  It was worth the wait!  At 10 months young she's quite the brilliant beauty - with her lovely, happy baby smile, her uniquely sweet singing voice, and her aversion to the feel of grass on her tootsies - we were all smiles!! :)
Thank you again, my friends!  Please enjoy your preview.

Daddy is the New York Yankees fan!!  Go team!!!

Thank you again, friends!! I hope you enjoyed your preview :) It was wonderful to see you both, meet your mom (aka MomMom) and especially your adorably beautiful little miss.

With love & hugs,

If I had a flower ...

If I had a flower for every time I thought of you…

I could walk through my garden forever.

Hey, Hey, Chelsea, It's Your Day …

Have I got something for you today!  Can you guess whose birthday it is?  The birthday girl has overcome much and she has much to be proud of.  Life has some of the best lessons for us - doesn't it?!  And, don't I know it.  I hope you will enjoy my little walk down memory lane.  I am the mom after all.  I am entitled to a little bragging rights.  ;) Without further ramblings from yours truly, please enjoy, my friends.

you knew I was going to throw in the naked baby pictures that I love so much… couldn't resist, sorry.

This is an especially happy birthday.  We received wonderful news of Chelsea's acceptance into Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, and couldn't be happier for her.  She has been at this crossroads for a little longer than 7 months.  Her future was uncertain.  She needed to test herself.  To find her "legs."  She found them.  I am just so happy, relieved, proud, relieved, - Oh, I said 'relieved' twice.  :)

Chelsea, my heart is happy.  As your mom, I have the honor and privilege of watching you grow into not only a wonderful human being, but a beautiful young woman.  I hope you know how proud of you I am. It's not always so easy to walk in another's shoes.  And I have a difficult time - sometimes - of letting you "go."  I can be a "tad" bit controlling.  I think at times it's my way of making sure you hear me.  I know you will do great things.  You already have.  Always know how much your mom loves you.  I am always in your corner, cheering you on, baby!!!  I got your back.  We all make mistakes, and we will fall again and again, but it's not the meek of heart to get back up, dust yourself off, stand up straight, and grow even taller, stronger, wiser.  Chelsea, you shine, my love.

Happy Birthday to you, Chelsea!!

Love you,
always & forever,
mom

Hopewell Furnace and Family Fun

I had a fun morning yesterday with my dear friends while exploring Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site and photographing.  If you frequent my blog, than you will recognize these adorable faces!  I have had the privilege of capturing them many times over the years, and each time is new and exciting!  I never know what our session will have in store for us. ;)

Here's a sneak peek for all to enjoy.

Thank you friends for another great photo shoot!  I always enjoy the natural "challenges" that arise when photographing children.
I love these kids and their adorable faces, and particularly endearing personalities!!

Love you guys!  xoxo!

With love & friendship,
always,
Barb

Springtime Dandies

I couldn't wait to share a few of my favorite images from this memorable photo shoot with you!  This was a truly special time for me.  I have been in contact with a former co-worker of mine on Facebook for some time now and feel like I've gotten to know her even better than when we actually worked together!!  Isn't it funny how things work out?  Anyhow... we worked together at a corporate travel agency - cubicles, headsets, constant phones and schedules to juggle.  Oh, I never told you the story of my travel agent years?!  It's been 10 years since I left the travel business behind, but continue to maintain friendships from my "past life." And thankfully so.

When my friend, Chris asked me to do a photo shoot with her, her family, and her sister's family, I was thrilled!  Yes, of course!!  We spent an unseasonably warm spring afternoon together at Reading's Public Museum in West Reading, PA.

These memories I will cherish - always. :)

Thank you for viewing, my friends!  This is a wonderful life that I have been blessed with, and it brings me pure joy
to be able to share this love of mine with you.
I am equally blessed by your faith, trust and willingness to allow me the sincerest privilege of photographing you.

Thank you so very much, Chris, Steph and family.
This was a unique treat for me and I am grateful to you.

Wishing you all the best in life, always!

With warmth & friendship,
Barb
